An hour later the sherriff showed up, said 'you should probably replace your door' and left. Useless fucks. Feb 23, 2016 Have only an hour to get ready for guests? So I had a 12 guage aimed at my bedroom door with the dresser pushed up against it. Longest hour of my life.I see we have similar home defense plans.
Glad you didn't have to shoot anyone. Even more glad you were unharmed!Very un-glad the police were useless. They didn't even want to check your camera footage to build an investigation?
This is the kind of crap that gets me to vote no when they request tax increase. I get being unable to get there quickly if they're underfunded and understaffed, but to just shrug off their investigation even when they do show up? I'm glad I didn't have to either. I hate that everyone thinks gun owners are just begging for someone to come in just so they can shoot someone. They dont even have a police report for me to reference.
I showed them the camera footage and they said 'no enough to go on'. And called it a night.Dont even get me started on the laughable attempts the Mayor has pulled to try and get more taxes. You dont even spend the money we give you on what you're supposed to and you want more?! Nah, fuck that.
I have 2 PCs. One has Windows 7 and one has Windows 10. I am in Daylight Savings Time and my PCs have always worked in their automatic adjustment. In fact, the recent 'spring forward' was recognized by both PCs, my phones, etc. I changed nothing at all.I woke up at midnight, based on my alarm clock's time (which auto-adjusts based on radio signals from 'somewhere'). That time still currently matches 2 of my phone's time (Android), and I'm pretty sure the time was also correct on my PC when I woke up.At around 3 or 4, I checked PC time because it was time to take my medicine at 4 and, there it was, 4:00am.
But, I was like 'wth' because I had just recently checked and still had a bit of time left and I didn't think that much time had transpired, but thereit was. Then the wife woke up and started freaking out 'cause my PC said 6:30am and she had set her alarm for 5:00 and snoozed a couple of times, but freaked 'cause of my PC time.So we checked hers - it was wrong too.So somewhere between midnight and 4am, the hour went forward. I fixed it by turning off automatic setting and DST, which is wrong because I'm in DST.Help? This could really screw up a lot of stuff if all Windows PCs flipped an hour.edit.I just checked my Skype chat and it's 1 hour behind the correct time! Okay, something strange is going on here with all of my Microsoft products. I found your thread after a lots of searching, I thought I was the only one.
I also fixed my issue by toggling the DST settings. Control Panel.
Click 'Clock, Language & Region'. Click 'Change the time zone'. Click 'Change time zone.' Button. Check 'Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving Time'It was only when I switched it the 2nd time in Control Panel that my clock stopped being an hour behind after a reboot.Windows was prolly confused about DST settings.
I reported it on the Feedback app so that Microsoft will be aware. Here in Sweden we got Daylight Saving Time March 26 2017, and just a week later (April 3rd) we got the time erroneously set forward another hour (that is 1 hour ahead of the correct time and 2 hours ahead of normal time). We had to change timeserver on our Windows 2016 server.

We found out that our NAS had the right time, so we copied that time server address to our domain server as well. Then we ran the following command on our work computers that get the time from the server, to synchronize them immediately:w32tm /resyncI've not found anything from Microsoft about this, and I would have expected more people to write about it, if it was something that affected every windows computer.
